In my first few times shooting for the Daily Herald, I learned quickly that there is not much communication that goes on between writers and photographers, nor editors and reporters. So when I got to my second shoot on a lovely late summer afternoon to photograph a discarded Hindu statue, little did I know I was going to be wading through brush and water to get there. Thankfully the subject informed me before embarking, and I scrambled through my car to find something that wasn't the dress pants and dress shoes I was wearing.
It all worked out, and the location was really beautiful. The result:
